Mississippi Gulf Coast Fishing
Enjoy year-round sport fishing opportunities along our inland waterways and the waters between the coastline and the offshore islands.
Nearby Fort Bayou, regulated by the Gulf of Mexico tide, wanders 18 miles inland from the gulf waters. Large mouth bass are the regular "catch of the day" in the brackish waters. The local fresh and brackish waters also offer excellent fishing for white perch, bream and other species.
Trout and redfish are abundant in the local salt water. Other species, including kingfish and Spanish mackerel, are also found.
Enjoy the entertainment and education from local fishing charters, swamp tours, shrimping, crabbing and floundering.
